Projects
CRIS has delivered a wide range of projects in the last 7 years,working within the community and supporting other creative businesses to get established. These projects have supported over 1,000 people into creative opportunities, ranging from film to theatre and all points in between. Projects are varied from short to long term three year plans, and work with a wide range of beneficiaries from all walks of life. Freelancers
CRIS prides itself on working with freelance crew from the industry, whether film makers, musicians, performers or others. It takes a certain kind of creative to be able to work in our sector, it's not just about knowing your industry and your skills, it's also about working with people from diverse backgrounds from all levels, and making a real difference to their lives, transferring your skills and knowledge, to help them achieve their goals. Volunteers
CRIS like many other companies in this sector relies on the assistance and hard work of a select number of volunteers. Most people who volunteer with us have usually done some form of project and feel they want more experience before setting off on their own. In actual fact most of our freelance crew have in some way volunteered themselves for experience in this sector too. Work Experience & Placements
From time to time we offer work placements to students looking for a short period of experience to support study. Our placements are given to those of 15 years and over, so if you want to find out more then contact us.



Employment
From time to time we also employ staff directly. These opportunities will be listed on this site as well as our usual outlets, so stay posted to keep upto date.

Partnerships
CRIS works in partnership with a number of organisations to deliver projects. We also work in partnership to secure funding and give a voice to the sector. Our two main partnerships are Salford Community Media Partnership (SCMP) and Greater Manchester 3rd Sector Media Consortium (Gm3).


Gm3
This consortium has been established to support the 3rd Sector Media Organisations currently working in the sector across Greater Manchester and works to provide a centre for sharing information, forming of partnerships, securing funding to deliver projects and sharing best practice. It hopes to provide a forum and a voice for the whole of the sector especially in light of Media City UK and future media developments that can have impact on our communities.
